The children in Form 2 visited Christchurch this week to take part in an interactive presentation called ‘Christmas Unwrapped’. The children had a fantastic time learning about the Christmas story. They had to find and unpack presents hidden around the church containing clues to the Christmas story which they were then told.
As a class they produced a book of the story which they were able to bring back to school with them and keep in their classroom. In addition to this, they each made mangers for jelly-baby Jesus’s, designed patterns on angels, made star decorations for their Christmas trees and treasure chests with representations of the gifts the wise men brought for Jesus.
