Sporting Update

South London Harriers Cross Country
24 children represented St David’s across the U9 and U11 age range at the first of the South London Harriers X-country series held at Woodcote School on the 5th November. There were some outstanding performances especially by some of the newcomers to the team. The current standings are U9 Girls 8th; U9 boys 7th ; U11 girls 10th ; U11 boys 1st ! The next race is scheduled for Saturday 21st January.

Seaton House Netball Tournament
Well done to the St David’s girls team who performed extremely well at the first of the season’s Netball tournaments. The competition was very fierce with some strong schools taking part and it is a credit to the team to how well they did taking the 8th position in the final points table. Congratulations to all the girls that took part.

North London School Football Tournament
St David’s U11 team went in to this event at Reddiford as the defending champions and started off with a draw and two wins. Unfortunately the team conceded a goal in the last 50 seconds of the final match and lost 2-1. This meant a 2nd place finish in the final table. Congratulations to all the boys that took part.

U11 Football vs Collingwood
Well done to the team who won this match 5-0.

U9 Football vs Green Wrythe Primary
Congratulations also to our U9 football team who won their match against Green Wrythe Primary 4-3.

U11 Netball vs Croydon High
Well done to our U11 netballers who put up a good fight in this close game, which Croydon High won.
