On Friday 16th September, we were excited to take part in the national Dahlicious Dress Up Day, which provided the pupils with the opportunity to unleash their imagination, inspiration and inventiveness by dressing up as their favourite Roald Dahl character, whilst helping serious ill children.
St David’s was filled with Fantastic Mr Foxes, Big Friendly Giants, Oompa-Loompas, Grand High Witches and all kinds of phizz-whizzing characters, whilst some came dressed from head to toe in Yummy Yellow – Roald Dahl’s favourite colour. Some of them may have looked a bit like twits, but they were certainly all champions of the world!
Our thanks go to all the parents who helped create such fantastic costumes for the children and for the donations. We are delighted to have raised £131.90 for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
Pictures from the day can be seen by going to the Gallery.
