Wild Things in Form 2

In Science this half-term, Form 4 have enjoyed making healthy bowls of fruit salad. They chose apples, strawberries, grapes and bananas, which are their favourite fruits. They cut the stalks off the strawberries, peeled the apples and chopped the bananas and grapes, before sitting down to eat their delicious snack.

Meanwhile, in English, Form 2 have been reading fantasy stories, including Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. They have been writing some amazing stories about their own made up and imaginative Wild Things, and painting monsters in their Art lessons. The walls in the classroom have become the “forest that grew all around” and vines are hangin g down from the ceiling and walls. Some Muggle Wumps from Roald Dahl’s book The Twits have even crept in to the forest!

Photos from their lessons can be viewed here.
