MUSIC & DRAMA
MUSIC
Music is considered to play an important part in a child's development and they all, from the youngest to the oldest, take part in a variety of productions and presentations through the year.
Each class has two music lessons each week and a progressive curriculum is followed so that each child will be taught pitch and rhythm in an exciting and stimulating way.
Mrs. George co-ordinates music throughout the school and is able to advise and guide children to choose an appropriate instrument to study.
The school choir regularly performs at public events which have included the Fairfield Hall and Blue Peter and also recording sessions for advertisements and promotions.
All children from Form III upwards learn the recorder and a large number of pupils have individual instrumental lessons with the peripatetic staff.

DRAMA
Children are encouraged and supported in order to develop their confidence and self assurance on stage or when in front of an audience.
New staging has enabled a flexible and readily accessible facility for improvisation and role play.
