We celebrated St David’s Day on Friday 3rd March with our annual Eisteddfod (poetry-reading) competition plus lots of other fun activities.
Over half-term, every pupil from Form 1 upwards learnt a poem, which they performed from memory to the rest of their class. The three best performances were then picked to go through to the final on Friday, where the children had to recite their poem in front of the rest of the School.
The performances were judged on many criteria and the judges had a tricky time picking the final winners. Congratulations to everyone who took part and presented their poems so well. We’re pleased to announce that the overall winners for each class are as follows:
