The Early Years

There are two Early Years classes. Lower Kindergarten enter following their third birthdays and attend for mornings only. This is extended during the Summer term when they attend for one whole day on a Monday.

Upper Kindergarten are the equivalent of a reception age class and although there is learning through play, there is also a structured approach to reading through phonics and word recognition, writing and numberwork.

Both classes are registered for appropriate Nursery funding and are located on the ground floor. In this friendly and secure environment the children are taught by well qualified and experienced teachers, supported by class assistants.
