The School
St. David's is an Educational Trust with a Governing Board. The school accepts children from 3-11 years old. The principal year of entry is Nursery (3 years) when eighteen children are admitted and Reception (4 Years) when four addtional places are available. There are occasional vacancies at other ages when children are considered for entry into the relevant year group.
There are eight classes consisting of an average of twenty two children in each class. The two foundation classes - constituting The Early Years, Forms I and II are the Keystage I Infant classes and Forms III - IV are the Keystage 2 Junior section.
Our aim is to educate the whole child so that educationally, socially and morally they are able to integrate and flourish when they progress to their secondary schools out of Form VI at the age of eleven. As a co-educational school our pupils gain places and scholarships at local Independent Secondary schools and selective Grammar Schools such as Whitgift, Trinity, Caterham, Old Palace, Croydon High, Sutton High, Wallington (boys and girls) and Wilsons.
