School Life

Drama and performance can help build teamwork skills, self-esteem and an early confidence in public speaking. Pupils at St David’s are given many opportunities to develop their skills during lessons and in the performance of class assemblies and end-of-year shows.

We hold an annual Eisteddfod (poetry-recital) competition in the Spring term. All children in Forms 1 – 6 participate in preliminary rounds in class, with the winners competing in an exciting and entertaining final attended by the whole school.

Musical Theatre
Our musical theatre club is run by local dance teacher, Miss Penny Parks, and is available to pupils from Form 2 upwards. Classes incorporate singing, dancing, acting and performing music from all the West End shows.
