Christmas Unwrapped

The children in Form 2 had a great time when they visited Christ Church in Purley and took part in an interactive presentation called ’Christmas Unwrapped’. They had to find and unpack presents hidden around the church containing clues to the Christmas story which they were then told. As a class they produced a book of the Christmas story which they were able to bring back to school with them. In addition to this, they each made mangers for jelly-baby Jesus’s, designed patterns on angels, made star key rings and decorated treasure chests containing chocolate coins representing the gifts the wise men brought to Jesus.

Photos from their trip can be viewed in the Gallery.
