Cross Country Results

SLH X-Country series @ Woodcote High School, Saturday 4th February

Once again, there were some excellent performances by all our runners. Zarah (Form 4) continues to dominate the U9 girls event with her 2nd top 5 finish in succession. The U11 boys continue to perform well, but unfortunately due to illness we did not get our full team out on the day so as a result we have dropped down to 2nd place in the series. Special congratulations to George (Form 6) who, as captain, continues to lead the way with another Top 10 finish. We have high hopes for the final event in the series in March.

ISA X-Country London South Trials @ Frewen College, Monday 6th February

Congratulations to all 11 runners who braved the East Sussex weather to compete in the London South trials. As ever, the competition was of a very high standard but we performed well as a team, which was extremely encouraging. Commiserations to Monty (Form 5) who was tipped for a strong finish but unfortunately after suffering a heavy cold during the week, was unable to challenge for a top place, but to his credit finished the race.

Individual results from the day are as follows:

U11 boys: James (Form 6) 21; George (Form 6) 24; Jamie (Form 5) 49; Raul (Form 6) 50; Jay (Form 6) 80.

U11 girls: Hannah (Form 5) 45; Lissy (Form 5) 47; Millie (Form 6) 50; Meera (Form 5) 51; Juliette (Form 6) 52.
