On Tuesday 13th March, Form 4 became forensic scientists at Christ Church in Purley, in order to learn more about the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. They took part in various activities, including:
- Investigating the crime scene – looking around the tomb and cross to find clues as to what had happened
- Code breaking – using a code breaking wheel to reveal the secret messages from the soldiers
- Fingerprint Matching – to those that were left behind at the crime scene
- Laboratory experiments – using chemicals to discover whether Jesus was alive or dead when he had been put in the tomb.
The class all had a great time and learnt a lot about the Easter story. Photos from their trip can be viewed in the Gallery.
