Informal Concert

On Tuesday 28th February, 32 of our children performed on their musical instruments and gave the audience a high-quality evening concert. The children introduced themselves confidently and played their pieces beautifully.

It was great to hear our three Form 6 children, who have been offered Music Awards / scholarships, perform. Ben F played a guitar piece and Aaryan and Juliette both played the violin.

Also worth a special mention is the Guitar ensemble who played two stunning pieces and the Fiddle Fiesta who played Riding the Carousel and demonstrated wonderful teamwork incorporating very young players through to very experienced ones.

The concert ended with George playing a Grade 4 drum piece with his ‘light-up’ sticks, in the dark!

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening once again and a fantastic opportunity to see the progress our children are making – all that practice is paying off!

Photos from the concert can be viewed in the Gallery.
