Form 4 had their annual History trip to Lullingstone Villa in Kent on Friday 18th May. The trip was planned to supplement the work the children have been doing in class about Life in Roman Britain over the last term.
On the day the children were split into groups and given four key questions to consider:
- How the villa was built?
- Who lived there and what was family life like?
- How had it changed?
- How did the owners make a living?
The children made notes to use in a planned lesson back at school. They also enjoyed the workshop on Magic and Medicine and making their own Roman mosaics.
All the children enjoyed themselves and worked extremely well as a group. Photos from their visit can be viewed in the Gallery.
