On the 9th February, a mixture of Form 5 and 6 children which included Evan, Vrutik, Hannah D, Nayana, Zarah, Darcie, Riya, Alex and Amaya, went to compete at the Love Languages competition at City of London Freemen’s school. This competition tests your language skills out. The languages allowed are French, German and Spanish. We performed our play in French. The theme was celebrations and our play was about Chinese New Year and we came up with the ideas ourselves. We performed our play and then we had some lunch. After lunch it was time for the awards ceremony. We were very patiently waiting to hear who had won. Unfortunately we didn’t win, but something out of the ordinary happened, and we were awarded Highly Commended for the Year 7 and 8 category! We were very confused but very happy!
We received a rosette, certificates and a box of Dairy Milk chocolates. We were very happy and had a great experience listening to the other schools perform. It was a day we will never forget.
