Despite all the snow and unseasonably cold weather, we celebrated St David’s Day on Friday 2nd March with our annual Eisteddfod (poetry-reading) competition plus lots of other fun activities.
During half-term, every pupil from Form 1 – 6 learnt a poem, which they performed from memory to the rest of their class. The three best performances were then picked to go through to the final on Friday. The performances were judged on many criteria and the judges had a hard time picking the final winners. Congratulations to everyone who took part and presented their poems so well. We’re pleased to announce that the overall winners for each class are as follows:
